We are looking for an ETL Developer in Airflow to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, you should have a background in Python, data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Airflow ETL after gathering and translating end user requirements.
- Write Python scripts to parse data from data dumps in .CSV, .XML, .JSON and other data formats.
- Write Python scripts to parse data from Databases such as MySQL, MongoDB etc.
- Work with ETL and ELT workflow management.
- Oversee the development process of the Product, POC and demo versions.
- Be responsible for the performance and usability of the system.
- Bring new technologies/ideas to the team.
- Perform optimization of SQL Queries.
- Be part of our growing BI Practice.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Hands on experience in Airflow ETL development & deployment.
- Hands-on professional with thorough knowledge of Python scripting.
- Decent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns.
- Able to provide optimized SQL Scripts for complex scenarios.
- Strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills.
- Good understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation.
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Should possess very good communication with strong business analyst skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Applications, Information Systems or Engineering.
